The activity carried out by the company consists of the supply of products to customers’ depots with transport from the most important refineries and port sites in Italy and France, using dedicated semi-trailers for primary transport. The Company currently has 151 semi-trailers, towed by its own vehicles.
The company also offers product distribution services from customer depots to destinations in Piedmont and Liguria, an activity that is provided using 5 tractor units.
The company also has specific semi-trailers with a litre-counting device to make split deliveries to roadside distribution plants.
For several years Transpe has been transporting technical gases that, due to their properties or purity, must be transported with dedicated semi-trailers to avoid contamination.
Currently, the company’s own fleet consists of road tractors with a maximum age of 6 years, all of which are included in a maintenance programme directly managed by the manufacturer.
The maintenance and management of tyres for which an agreement has been made with Michelin for the management of all tyres on towing and towed vehicles in order to have the maximum possible control and the best possible safety standard.
